Lara Grace Collections and More than a Hint of French Chic
Sisters Joanne Robinson and Marie-Clair Hogan launched Lara Grace Collections, in 2006.
A range of natural cottons and linens in timeless floral, patchworks, stripes and checksthat suit both modern and traditional homes. It has a strong Anglo-French feel and this is no accident. Joanne and Marie-Clair grew up spending summers in the Cathedral town Chartres with their French Grandmother, and wanted the collection to remind them of the time they spent exploring the Medieval streets, markets and chic boutiques.
Their Grandmother’s fondness of mixing florals with checks and stripes ‘pourqoi pas’ (even the plaid wallpaper looked chic)!, was not lost on the sisters when it came to putting the collection together. The fabrics they have chosen range from the subtle shades of the Avalon linen union to the vibrant Pippin Patchwork Summer and now for Spring 2010 introducing the new Dalmain range.
